This project encompassed the supply and installation of a Daikin ducted system on the upper level, complemented by a Daikin high-wall split system installed in the living room on the lower level.

Expert Ducted Air Conditioning Installation: Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW

Precision Electrical & Air provided and expertly installed the Daikin FDYAN160AV1 16.0kW ducted system. The indoor unit was strategically positioned in the ceiling space above the void, while the condenser was securely mounted on the front balcony wall using rubber feet for stability. All connections between the indoor and outdoor units were meticulously enclosed in ducting as they exited the ceiling space.

To ensure effective drainage, two separate drainage systems were established from the indoor unit and its safety tray, directing excess water to the external gutter. Comprehensive ducting, branch takeoffs, zone motors, and air plenums were fitted throughout the ceiling space and integrated with the indoor unit. A return air grille was installed in the upstairs hallway to optimize airflow.

A dedicated electrical sub-circuit was created, extending from the main switchboard to the outdoor unit. This circuit included an NHP isolation switch conveniently mounted next to the condenser. a MyZone Multipoint touchpad zone controller was installed in the upstairs hallway and connected to the zone motors, allowing for precise temperature control throughout the space.

Professional Installation of High-Wall Split System: Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW

The Daikin FTXV80W 8.0kW high-wall reverse cycle split system was expertly installed in the downstairs living room. This process included the installation of new ducting, an interconnect cable, and a copper pair coil linking the indoor and outdoor units. As with the ducted system, the condenser was mounted on rubber feet to ensure stability.

A separate electrical circuit was established, running from the switchboard to the condenser, complete with an NHP isolation switch. To effectively manage condensation, an Aspen Silent+ Mini condensation pump was installed beneath the indoor unit and connected to the nearest stormwater downpipe. Upon completion, the system underwent thorough commissioning to guarantee optimal performance.

Thanks to this installation, the property now benefits from zoned ducted heating and cooling on the upper level, paired with a dedicated high-wall unit for the living space downstairs.
